For the last couple of weeks I've been getting warnings from my Airport
Extreme router that a new version of firmware is available (including the
yellow flashing light on the front). But when I look, it says 7.3.2 is
installed and 7.3.2 is available. I even updated it just for the heck of it

Why don't you first downgrade then upgrade again. That may fix your problems.

Do not know if this applies to the Airport or not, but, each time I have
upgraded router firmware, I've had to power the router completely OFF and
leave it OFF for some minutes (~5). After powering back on, the new
firmware seems to take hold/command. Just a thought.

Every time I try to burn an image, it seems that someone else has
invented a new format. Right now I use CDBurnerXP, which only burns
ISO, or at least it won't burn .daa. What is the best free image
software that can handle different image types?

I've got a 1.2GHz Duron and a K7S5A Pro MB laying around and I'd like to
set up a computer to show videos while I'm on the treadmill.
I'm not trying to do HD and I'd guess that XP would be a little too
slow? What about some version of Linux and a video player, would that
do the trick?

Sounds good, I can go with that. I've doctored XP to be very small and
lite -- so much so that a lot of stuff doesn't work...lol.

Prime95 which has already been mentioned, OCCT, and SuperPi 16 and 32m.
Any one of these is guaranteed to BSOD or crash the utility if there is
the slightest instability. OC away!

That is exactly what I wanted to check.. to make sure there are no errors

Since Yahoo does not let @yahoo.com users pop3/smtp I'd have to assume there is a
proxy/gateway setup for bellsouth customers and it's causing or getting timeouts from
yahoo's server.

Make sure that you actually enable round-off checking. The 25.x versions
have it turned off by default.
