Dear God
Not only that, but Verizon has introduced, or is in the process of,
their own music download service. The iTunes phone directly competes
with that. It's highly unlikely that Apple would make a VCast compatible
version of the phone.
I'm still on the fence about wanting this phone. On one hand,
This phone is GSM so it won't work with Verizon anyways. They would
have to come out with a whole new phone that does CDMA. Not really
that hard, but it still another assembly line.
The iPhone has a full Safari web browser built in and should give as
good web access as any other device out

Specs are real use Neil?
Razr specs *say* up to 7 hrs/12 days, but only
delivers about 5/10 if
you have Bluetooth off.
No biggie, rev 1 product, I can wait a year for the
next version!

I've never had a phone that would hold a charge that long
while taking continuously. I'm doubtful.
Talking isn't the problem, using the menus (screen being on and backlit) or
having Bluetooth on is a killer though. Colour screens can easily use more
power than the radio transmitter/receiver.

Sucks to be any other cell phone maker (or Verizon) today - you just
saw everything you have become obsolete.

I wonder what type of data plan you'd need from Cingular for all its data
functionality. I mean with how they are claiming it runs OSX, has 802.11
and the rest it seems at least as powerful as the PDAs which means a $45 a
month data plan if you want unlimited.
If you don't get the data plan
