This phone is GSM so it won't work with Verizon anyways. They would have to come out with a whole new phone that does CDMA. Not really that hard, but it still another assembly line. The iPhone has a full Safari web browser built in and should give as good web access as any other device out

I've never had a phone that would hold a charge that long while taking continuously. I'm doubtful. Talking isn't the problem, using the menus (screen being on and backlit) or having Bluetooth on is a killer though. Colour screens can easily use more power than the radio transmitter/receiver.
