midwestern synagogue library that has some non-Jewish patrons, some
extremely knowledgable patrons, but mostly patrons with average
Jewish knowledge?

Dear Hasafranim,
A patron, who has been published before for a non-Jewish children's

What have others done? I imagine I should at least read a scary book,
a funny animal book, and a sweet bedtime book. Any other suggestions,
not just for books but activities that could involve preschoolers?
What is a good way to structure the event?

I have written a novel about the Middle East issues involving two
families, one
hold onto them to give the appearance
of a huge sale each year, in case the donations are low. And you'd be
surprised what sells one year that didn't sell the year before.
I hope that helps.

I would suggest God's Garden by Adam Fisher, which are wonderful,
original stories based on each parsha geared for elementary school
kids. There are no pictures, but there are suggestions for props to
act out the stories.

This may seem elementary, but how would some of you define the

I would also suggest ResourceMate
(http://www.Resourcemate.comwww.Resourcemate.com) for very small

does it's job well, though I'm looking forward to improvements.

I might go with Resourcemate, though funding is still an issue.
