onto the DVD (no adhesive). At first, I thought they were GREAT in that
they protect DVDs from fingerprints and scratches. However, some people

I have just watched the DVD The Forgotten Refugees about the Jews
from Arab lands who were expelled from the 1940's onward.
It had documentary footage and interesting interviews with Jews
who grew up in Libya, Iraq, and so on. Theirs is a story we don't
hear very often.

requires a special DVD player. (a la PAL for VHS)?

DVD's are encoded by region and a DVD encoded for one region will not play
on a DVD player from another region. This was done so that hollywood could
release movies to different regions of the world at different times.
