I'm wondering what other libraries, esp. those that are part of a larger
institution, are doing at this time. Obviously, our synagogue has closed down
for services, but we're keeping a skeleton staff on during the week and are
floating the idea of having books from the library (
I take everything Jewish and in good condition because I run a yearly book
sale. I box it up and place it in our synagogue's storage until the sale.
Whatever doesn't sell over 2-3 years I leave out for anyone to take and
whatever is left from that goes to our public library for their book sale.

many people asked me for the name of the gender-neutral chumash that I
mentioned in my previous email. I am happy to share that (though that must mean
