Are you using the Leica Bond for Clinical diagnostic testing? If yes, use of
any biomed company to PM or use non-Original equipment manufacturing (OEM)
parts on the instrument would void the IVD status of your instrument and any
IVD reagents you are automating on it.

It's amazing how much Leica wants for their parts. For example, the waste
bottle used to collect the buffer waste is $674 and the seal for the
retort's lid is $597.

Leica is recommending not to use clipped corner slides on their Bond Rx
instrument. I know there are labs out there who use this instrument and may

Hello all,
Our laboratory is considering a purchase, and Leica will be giving a
presentation on the unit in September. I was hoping to get some responses of
pros/cons/quirks from users to help in our assessment. We are currently using
Ventana XT to look at PD biomarkers in cell lines,
The Bond III and Bond max are great. The Bond III has a shorter run time. Not
to mention the cost savings on both machines. And yes, maintenance is a piece
