I get regular server crashes (about twice a day) on my Linux box, but
only on map PLR_PIPELINE. Has anyone also noticed problems with this
map only?
Quoting Jeff Sugar : That's likely from the map you're running. At
least, the only time I've
gotten anything remotely similar was when there was a
How long do you run the map plr_pipeline?
Any timelimit or winlimit set?
I got a lot of crashes on my plr_pipeline only server per day (same on
tc_hydro), because the edict limit was reached.

I just recently started renting a Linux L4D server and I noticed that the
sv_steamgroup_exclusive doesn't seem to work since the last update. This is
what is in my config file:
sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0
sv_steamgroup 982908
sv_steamgroup_exclusive 1
Previously this worked, but not
Oh. I forgot to mention - i have removed tc_hydro from mapcycle long
time ago cause it crashes most often of all maps. And no i dont have
winlimit, all maps have timelimit 30 minutes so it couldnt be too long
time.. So this should be fixed by Valve i think.. Tc_hydro crashes at

Ah, Thank You Arg!.
On the surface from reading the initial post I believe it is. I'll dig
through the rest of the pages to see if there are any additional caveats of
good information.
Thanks again.

I get a smilar error too. The server doesn't crash, just freezes which is
kinda worse than just crashing.
I don't run any custom maps.

I too have been getting crashes on all my servers (win based). I originally
thought it was due to a sourcemod/SM plugin but i have done everything with
the exception of running vanilla. Any vanilla admins having the same issue?
I'm running the latest SM snapshot as well. I wish I had more details

I am getting crashes and lockups on our server as well. I have gone to the
latest snapshot of 1.2.X SM and still no luck. I have gotten rid of all the
extra plugins and still keeps happening. It does not matter what map we are
on and it can happen at any point in the maps. We only use stock

Run a vanilla server and see if it crashes.
My money is on SM.
