I had the same problem while updating hlds dedicated server after last update.
The update procedure always gave me this message after
.\engine_amd.so
Compression failure
I've removed my InstallRecord.blob but had no luck
What solved, in my case, whas to remove the account data from the steam com
es will reduce the basic cpu usage
and also the average load will be for sure reduced.
I think that if you stop the web server (but I don't think you can)
you'll se the load average back below 1

I've just turned on a CS:S server and i need some info. As the server is
behind a firewall i need some infos regarding the ports and protocol that I
need to PAT on the firewall.

launching the game server. An you also need a dir with all the 2.2
libraries needed to run CS or NS.
