Failing to read /proc/cpuinfo should be okay for HL1, certainly no code changed
around it for this latest release.

We have released an update to Half-Life 1 dedicated servers. This update fixes
the crash exploit reported earlier today due to a malformed customization
packet, run the hldsupdatetool to grab it.

The set of master servers is dynamic, you should not expect any particular ip
and/or port to survive in the long term. The DNS record we maintain is a
courtesy to help 3rd party tools, it can be out of date at times (like now), I
will get it fixed up.
