increasing the command line buffer is nothing compared to what mp_forceautojoin will do. hard coding, game implications. these are 2 VERY different things to implement. /mike On Mon, Apr 26, 2004 at 08:57:05AM +0200 or thereabouts, KnowHow The NetCrawler wrote: m0gely wrote: Alfred Reynolds

don't forget that any new slot on your server will increase the load exponetially! i mean 2 14slots cs servers will never have the load of a single 32slots one. here: on my barton 2800+, mobo abit nf7-s v2 (nforce2 ultra), fsb333, 1g ddr333 cl2, 3com python; i have 2 cs 1.5 servers atm.

2) Changing the Port from 27016 to 27017 cmon you can't be serious about that. do a fresh install. i mean hlds3110c + boffix_v3. rock solid here. test it on a standard map.. de_dust. then test the server against fy_iceworld. then add your meta + adminmod + etc. no crash for 3weeks

yes it's hlsw causing _a lot_ of lag because all your logs are transmited live to a remote box. i use this for irc-bots.. but only in competition, with only 1 hlds running on that machine. it's very cpu consuming. change the rcon_pass or block the ports. mike On Thu, Sep 04, 2003 at
