Also, while I haven't used the mainframe version, I know there is an os/390 port of INFO-Zip. It's freeware, including free for commercial applications. It's also 'functionally stabilised'. They haven't done any work on it since OS/390. Nothing, with z/OS. And, there's no support. We looked
