Please clarify:
"This presupposes that, since - tragically - the AnyNet Sockets over SNA

Chris,
Thank you for extracting this for me. I have to digest this. I will be
back with another post.

Chris,
We use Anynet in a very simple state. It is used to allow client
workstations to communicate with z/OS to access VSAM files using
Distributed File Manager. Va-Gen is an application development tool for
generating and testing code at the workstation level. You can
communicate with DB2 & CICS
Anynet is no longer supported beyond 1.7, I have to move to EE (Thanks
Chris for your assistance) to support Rational Busines Developer. APPC
will still be supported for applications like OSASF and DFM, correct ?

No. There's no UCB for MIGRAT, it's just an entry in the datastes
catalog record.
Can't you list the HSM catalog and filter for archived datasets ? With
CA-DISK you can list the files dataset to show all files that have been
archived.

Is there any doc on what the function of this address space is ? I found

We ran into a problem with the initial IPL of 1.9, CEA kept trying to
restart itself and hosed up the sysplex. That's what sparked the
curiousity to what it was all about.

How complicated is the migration. The second letter doen't leave much
time for transition.
