I am trying to migrate some TCPIP GATEWAY statements to BEGINROUTES as required
by z/OS 2.2.
The method I have been recommended to use is to get a system dump of the TCP
address space, then use IPCS to format the data using the TCPIPCS command which
will format the routes in BEGINROUTES format.
I preface this by saying that I am not a networking expert, but maybe someone
has seen a similar effect.
We have recently moved some systems to a different data centre. At 23:02 (local

Does anyone know where an up to date verson of OpenSSL that will run on z/OS
can be found. The version shipped in IBM Ported Tools is not current. I
understand that at least version 1.0.1n is needed to address the POODLE and
other exposures.

I have a CBRUXENT exit that defines the VTS, which I believe is necessary, but
it also checks that the right CARTs care coming through. There are two
operating modes which have different DEVSUP settings and different CA-1 TMC
setups.

There is usually a APAR/PTF issued by IBM Fault Analyzer support that
contains the updated ZAP as a sample.
The issue is nothing to do with z/OS itself so they do not care when other
products (or vendors) come along and ZAP the z/OS modules.
