Hello,
I'm trying to understand WAKEUP. I have the
following in WAKEUP TIMES A:
ALL 09:01:00 04/07/11 CP MSG OPERATOR
BACKUP THE DASD TONIGHT
I enter the command: wakeup 09:12 (file
This is displayed:
DMSCYW2246I 08:58:43 WAKEUP at 09:01:00 (137
sec).
I'm running a Performance Toolkit batch report
and it seems to be using a single quote (')
instead of a comma (,) in numbers greater than
999. IE:
Total real storage 2'048MB
Does anyone know how to change this to use a
comma instead of a quote mark?
Thanks,
Billy
All,
Trying to setup MONWRITE to collect monitor data
and I'm slightly confused as to what MONITOR
SAMPLE and MONITOR EVENT does. The cheat sheet I
found on ibm.com lists the following:
CP MONITOR SAMPLE ENABLE ALL
CP MONITOR EVENT ENABLE STORAGE
CP MONITOR EVENT ENABLE PROCESSOR
CP MONITOR EV
I've read the doc, but don't seem to be able to
find it or understand it, but how do you create a
summary file in Perfkit?

All,
Is there a way to export data from the
Performance Toolkit so that it can be sent to
another utility, like EXCEL or some other
reporting system.

All,
Having never applied service of any kind to

Hello all,
Does anyone have a procedure that they use to
collect and process z/VM monitor records that
they would be willing to share?
Thanks in advance,

If I need to enable a product such as RACF or
DIRMAINT that is DISABLED in the System Config

product without an IPL?

This email was originally about FDRPAS, but I
have changed the subject to reflect a more
broader subject.
What do other shops use when they have to
migrate their VM system to a new DASD subsystem.
Say you've installed a DS8300 and you need to
migrate from a DS6800. What do you use?
Thanks,
Something that does the same thing as FDRPAS?

Does anyone have a short tutorial or know of a

Is there a setting in TCP/IP that would set/limit the
QOS. Individual says they are getting slow QOS on an FTP

TCP/IP setting that would limit this.

If I send the following message to a logged on user will it be considered as
one message or

however.
