Hello,
I am in the beginning to implement FCP disk connections on a series of li

machines running SLES 10 sp2+, during startup I receive the following ser

Configuring device 0.0.0800
And just remember the limit on fcp's is 480 subchannels per CEC. This pu

a restriction on us for 160 ucb's per lpar (in our 3 z/vm lpar config)
That also means we have a limit of 160 linux guests using the fcp chipid.
Alan,
As always thanks for the clarity.

So on the system owning the SFS server, the file is only comments.
Again no change. I also verified that the server has class B authority.

I'm still not sure. I was able shut my test system down, where the SFS
server exists, re-ipl without RACF in the CP LOAD module.
I could not do the same to the secondary node.
This did not change anything. I am still only able to see files and
directories which are granted access to public.
According to the racf team here (I don't have access) we have configured
racf as you said. BTW: we do not have a userid calls tools only a files

Why would one show up and not the other.

All auditors requirements vary, but at one point I was required to
clear dasd during a disaster recovery test and we were able to
get by with a ickdsf format cyl 0-end of every data volume.
This of course added signifant time to our process.
