the cable is plugged back in, and the ICC's can be PING'ed, and all of the

I haven't done it for some time, but I remember down in the HMC pannels where the ICC gets configured there is a 'reload, or restart' or something like that. You might try looking in the ICC Red Book.

To reset
or reload the ICC, you have to vary off the CHPIDs to the ICC
from ALL LPARs. We were not doing this since the holdout LPAR was a new
one and since there was no console for it, it was just ignored. Taking the
CHPIDs offline at the HMC is not effective. Once
