only problem with an alias is that spammers can get a
hold of it but you can use the group alias which will do the same thing as a
list without security.

your users are logging in?
I run this regularly to weed out the people that are logging in every 1
minute.

the relevent drives. CHKDSK report no errors as neither does event logs,

Queue Length (use perfmon and value should be below the 20 line
most of the time. If just a little above, probably just a busy
system, but if above 60 for extended periods of time, you seem to
have a disk bottleneck.

An interesting pattern is starting to emerge. The POP3 service became stable
at 8pm yesterday, unstable at 8 am, a period of stability between 11am and
4pm, then unstable then stable again from 8pm tonight (its 8:30 now). CH

If you are running a chkdsk without dismounting the volume and the disk has
a fair bit of IO its not uncommon to see deleting index entry's notices.
Especially on files that are changing very often like lastlog.in.
