You could regexp the body of the messsage and strip any image tags whose

Have you tried restarting the smtp service. This usually works
the magic that you need to get imail to do something pre 8.0x.

You're right on many accounts but don't get too upset at my company for
trying to make a living. We have exorbitant hosting fees, database
licenses, lawyers, yada yada and doing this type of thing costs money on
many more accounts.
For a list of under 10,000 recipients that sends once a month

Perhaps the confusion is the forum we're discussing this in. We're not
a list server and do not even provide such functionality. We send bulk
email to opt-in lists. In doing so, we provide click-thru tracking,
document hosting, file attachments, automatic opt-out removal and
tracking, bounce

Sorry, I did my math wrong. You'd be looking at $1,000/day. That's
more accurate. Yep, 100 recipients for $1.

That is a very large number of emails! Wow, must be an intense process
getting a daily newsletter organized.
Actually, I work for a company that has online software that enables
people to do exactly what you want to do. We don't charge a monthly fee

It depends on how many you're thinking of sending. Is it around 500 or

I'm gearing up to roll out IMail for an additional 12,000 users. None
of them know what they're doing so I'd like to provide some sort of
manual. They'll be receiving an email from me containing the url and
their username and password but I'd also like to provide them some basic
information

That's an interesting thought. At this point, I don't care what I use.
I've wasted nearly a week in development on it already. You add a user
by writing to the registry directly? Hell, that's not so bad. Any tips
or helpful code handy to help me along?

I'm new to the list and this is my first post. I've read most of the
posts for the past couple years online in the archive. I'm working on a
tight deadline and am getting frustrated at the Imail API. I've read
the entire SDK and am having problems creating a user. I'm just not
