These work on v6.04. They probably work on later versions as well unless
IPSwitch made incompatable modifications to their rule file structure with
v7. It'd have to be tested to know for sure.

be surprised how effective this one filter is!

Anyone have anymore that are effective and relatively safe from deleting

independently. I'd have to look into it more though. Perhaps it's
just the loading placed on the SQL server by the IAdmin application during
the query. There's really no way I could slow this down. The process is
already slow enough in fetching all the users in IAdmin.

Just to let everyone know, our SMTP Auth problems went away the very day I installed
Mike Nice's new improved ODBCUSER.DLL which resolved concurrency problems with IMail's
ODBC external authentication. We use version 5.09. I just hope this was the problem
with v6 as well.

All I have found so far is that SMTP Auth just dies every 2-7 days. The only way to
get it working again is to restart the SMTP service. We know it dies because
Netscape people in particular start having problems. We are using v5.09. Is this
problem present in v6 as well?

Also, the same could be said of the IMail registry backup. Is there a way
to do this from the command line?

Can everyone do a scan of their IMail sys log for "parse error" and tell me
what you find. We've been getting alot of these lately and when it does
happen, it causes the users POP3 request to be rejected. We're using
v5.09. Thanks.
