Yes. Update to OpenSSL 0.9.8zc (or OpenSSL 1.0.1j) that has been built with

What are the chances of this working ? There would be no sharing of

I had this conversation with Mark some years back, let me summarize,

n, these things seemed to happen with earlier
version of uw-imap and of course, you mileage may vary. One other
advantage of going through the procedure will be to create a mix folder
broken into mix segments which will help with backups tremendously or at
least I remember something to that effect.

If that would aid/speed implementation of some long-desired extensions

What's in the new version? Soft quota support?

I'm surprised that you say that mixdfix didn't complain about that
data file, since it's supposed to check for that condition.
For the .mixmeta and .mixstatus files, just create an new mailbox and
copy the files from that.

Mark,
I was wondering about something now that this issue has come up... I
seem to recall that a release announcement or some such message
indicated there should be some performance improvement in the operation
of 2006 imap. After you complete this fix do you expect the performance
of the tra
warnings about potential NFS problems this
system has worked extremely well and I was wondering if there was
anything that would make MIX more or less susceptible to NFS
difficulties as compared with mbox which we currently use.
