Andy,
IPMI is for server platforms, and has tremendous momentum and support across
the industry. IPMI supports more server features than AMT. IPMI is a
strategic standard for Intel. Intel server customers would go elsewhere if we
moved from IPMI to AMT. There

I am not sure about the required modification. As specified, this is working
just fine now. As you mention, a lot of functionality is handle by FRU 0 but
as you mentioned also, the upgrade commands are only available directly.
HI Dmitry & all ,
I was tesing the LAN interface with the latest CVS code and there was a
issue with ipmi_lan_poll_recv related to send message..
It was not taking care when authentication is none (-A none) . Works only
when we have some kind of authentication (- U xxx -P )

Ah, ok, this makes sense. Yes, no driver changes should be necessary.
ipmitool will need modifications to handle it, though.
IMHO, this should work as something "special" in ipmitool. Normally in
the AMC case all the sensors and entities of the AMC are front-ended by
the IPMC, so there is no ne

Not sure I understand correctly the private and native. This is currently
working without any modification or support from the driver side. We just add
a layer of send message and wait for multiple answers.
Let me know!

Hi Dmitry and Corey,
Looks like some of you are trying to get in touch with me!!
Sorry, I miss the e-mail or I never received it... Anyway, do you still
have problem with the dual bridge option.
The DUAL bridge option with RMCP+ is used to send a remote command to
the shelf-manager, brid

Hi,
Attached is a patch for the lan and lanplus channel which fixes a
bug in case the first recv() attempt fails. In older versions this
worked, but with 1.8.9 this was broken because the code was changed
from using signals to using select(). There already was a
workaround in the code, but that di
Hi,
Attached is a patch against 1.8.9 which adds Raritan specific
OEM commands. We added these commands to ipmitool to manage
our devices (e.g. firmware upgrade, read firmware version) etc.
We were asked by our customers to make these changes public,
and here is the patch for the official version.
