1250 CBC? I don't have a thing listed anywhere either. MB runs ethnic
and other programming. Could they have been running something from the
CBC? No LPRTs I can see, unless one is missing from the list. What did
you hear, programming that is?

With not a decent NB, that would be a big issue here with the electric
fencing a few feet away. I would have to have a Noise Blanker on any
receiver I use here. Other than that, my noise floor is almost zero. But
that 1 sec clicking drives a DXer nuts.

I can verify that the SDR-IQ works fine with XP. I use mine both with
an Acer Laptop and my Dell 4700 desktop without any problems. It's loads
of fun to see what the little receiver can do.

The "working on it", may be a way to easily slide IBOC out of AM. As
they can be working on it for any certain length of time. The suits will
have to face it that there is no way around the noise. So, it does look
like the handwritting is on the wall. Hopefully, day IBOC will go in
time too.

With all the ideas on who to complain to one got left out unless
I missed it. The on air personalities. This is one group that
WANTS to be heard wherever a station can reach.

I finally did it! Not only have I heard every licensed AM broadcast
station in Maryland but I have visited and took pictures of all of their
transmitter sites.
Patrick Griffith on a visit to Maryland last summer accompanied me to
WTHU and WTRI. I also picked Patrick's brain about what to look
Beacon LYQ on 529Khz heard this morning at 5:30AM Central time. Signal is
weak but can be separated from the mess on 530. They are located near
Manchester, Tenn and run with 25 watts. Best bet in the midwest is just
before local sunrise when RVC, Cuba and the Canadian begin to fade. First

Well at least KGO is not running IBOC tonight. Their audio is back to
nice and clear.
