Hi Folks,
I thought I would report back with my big success today as a "thank you"
to the developers on this list. Despite my giving everyone a hard time
about the module naming (to which Axel fessed up admirably :-) I have to
admit that the code is tight and working pretty well for us thus far.

Hi All!!
I have noticed that just by loading the tveeprom module by itself,
without any v4l modules loaded first After some investigation and
debugging, it looks like the tveeprom module wants to attach to a v4l

are loaded). Thu

Read the list for this fix. You need an alias for the tveeprom set to
tveeprom-ivtv in modprobe.conf

Hello All.
I picked up a PVR150 last weekend and I've spent the last three days trying to
make it work. I wish I would have just bought another 250 but...
Anyway, I'm not new to this and have a working myth system with a pvr250. I've
built several systems for friends, so I'm pretty familiar w

number of other folks. I'd be curious to see if Chris has the tuner inp

Regarding the X driver, use the one that comes with the driver,
ivtv-0.2.0-rc3e.tgz.

Apologies for being slightly OT, but I have a small problem with the PVR-150
in 64bit PCI slots. When used in any 64 bit pci slot on an HP ML350, the
server fails to boot. Works fine in a 5 volt slot though.
Anyone else come across this?
Cheers

I wish there were a way to query the PVR card(s) and ask their temps.
I've got a fan right up against my -350 but I still have intermittent
sound problems. I thought I had enough cooling capacity...

Perhaps the easiest way to explain it is:
1. log in
2. Go to the FAQ
3. Click on "List FAQs" at the top (just below UserFAQ)
4. Only one FAQ currently exists. Under actions click on the comic bubble with a
question mark in it.
Or use this link: http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-faq_questions.php?faqId=1
I will be out of the office starting 28.01.2005 and will not return until
10.02.2005.
I will respond to your message when I return.

The first card is 0x08 and the second is 0x0a. Or 8 and 10. The one
I'm currently trying to use is 8.
I'm using the line:
BusID "0:08:0"
Which looks fine to me.

think I have found the problem here. It looks like the cards were
overheating. I've added an extra fan sucking air from around the cards
and haven't had a problem since. Recordings are now working excellently,
