script somewhere save it somewhere chmod it. Then link it to a remote
button in .lircrc. I modified it slightly for my purposes so you may

Actually, the setting you are looking is in mythtv-setup (run it from a
xterm, it's the thing that ran when you first installed)
Its under tuner config I think. The setting you are looking for is "vbi
format" set it to none. I think that checkmark just prevents it from
showing.

Mine finally worked. The key is to use very small values. I think my
settings are like -2, -4, 5, and 0 going down the list or something
similar if that doesn't make sense. I found if you set them too high it
has no effect and causes frontend instability. This only affects the On
screen display.

All I can think of is check your tv cable. Mine had a loose crimp and I
was getting similar interference. Either that or check and make sure
