If my guess is right, Outlook Express does not have a sub-menu to it, so you
would not find it in the Microsoft sub-menu, and it should be right after
all the sub-menus.

Sounds like there was a sub folder created in the delete folder. If this did
happen left arrow and see if it closes the delete folder. If it does close the
folder, right arrow to open and arrow down and delete the sub folder.

here is one more angle. If you haven't compacted your folders in a long
time, things will not always delete properly. I compact mine at least once a
week and more often if I've had bunches of mail.
