One thing to check is if screen echo is set to speak only highlighted
information. If it is set to all then JAWS will lose focus as changes
elsewhere are painted to the screen. use JAWS key (number pad insert key
for desktop configuration or caps lock key for laptop

work around could be to copy paste to a new document of your own - that
may be easier to format?
