Option Maintenance page. tab to stored folder and enter. Copy the info and
paste it in the run box. Than delete the delete folder. O E will create a
new delete folder when you open it. This little trick have save me a lot
What if you press f2 on the message and try highlighting the information you
want to copy. Not sure if this will work but whenever I want to copy a file
name but not the actual file I use the f2 for editing.

Fred,
Whenever I receive an attachment I can do one of two things 1) scroll down
under file to save attachments or 2) control a will highlite the whole
attachment then I can just use my cut or copy commands copy (control c) cut
(control x). The third option I just thought of while typing this
Hello Rj:
I'll try your suggestion. However, just to be on the safe side of things,
I'm going to paste below this message whatI copied where my stored folder
says so that you and others, can make an evaluation which might clarify what
is in there.
C:\Documents and Settings\Albert
Just paste it is the run box, if that is what you are asking.
And arrow down to the delete folder and delete it.

I can't make a definitive suggestion to cure your issue. It is certain.ly
not an issue that is common as I've not heard of anybody else having a
problem with Outlook Express 6 reading the incorrect subject line with Jaws
or another screen reader. That's not to say that nobody else has
Fred,
I assume what you want to do is just copy the name of the attachment? You'd
probably have to do that by copying the appropriate line from the Jaws
virtual window which you'd access with alt-insert-w using Jaws 11.

Hi: I'm using a new laptop with Windows 7 and Internet 8 and Jaws 11, 64 bit.
Can someone direct me to where I can find information on how to use Jaws with a
laptop keyboard? I initially changed Jaws to use the laptop keyboard but the
cap locks didn't work as an insert key or Jaws key.
I
Strange the caps lock key isn't working for you. Are you sure you didn't
change anything inadvertently in Configuration Manager? Particularly under
the keyboard options dialogue box?

Hi: I set the navigation key default to cap locks and changed the keyboard
layout under basic settins to laptop. How do you use the laptop keyboard to say
words and lines etc? When I use the x navigation key it doesn't find the
check boxes. Does Jaws have a classic settings option in Windows
There is no longer a classic laptop layout. x should get you to the next
check box. Check what's in navigation quick key manager.

Might sound stupid but would doing a repare/remove to your jaws help in
setting it back to its default behavior?
Sorry that might sound stupid but its the only thing I can come up with.

Not stupid. Yes he can try that. When it asks to remove the user
information, choose yes. A repair should be enough.

Go to the Tools menu, and activate the folder settings.
Go to the view tab, and tab to the tree view, and arrow down to Hide hidden
system files which is on, and change it's status to Off, by

Hi Joe, I'm only using Jaws 10, but when I have troubles with buttons, I
route Jaws cursor to PC cursor and do a left mouse click. That seems to work
most times. Good luck. - Shari
