To read the msg history during an ongoing conversation u have to use the Jaws
cursor. When ready to type revert back to the PC cursor and tab or shift tab
once or so to land on an edit field where u can type and hit enter to sen

If you're using Windows Media player to play the music, than use f8 to
decrease the volume of the music, and f9 to increase the volume.
If you have set another player as standard player for music on your pc, than

I use flash based radios on the net all the time. I manage my sound bia sound
card at a decent rate of 40; that way I can still here JAWS.
Using win 7 or Vista, you can adjust sound according to each application.

I've found the outline pane which is a critical feature of powerpoint for blind
people using JAWS to quickly and effectively review, create and edit slides no
longer works with JAWS on powerpoint 2007 and 2010. This is sad as I depend

I purchased a program called Day by Day Professional from Blind Software.
It costs about $30 and I really like it. I have had it for about 7 or 8
years and find it very helpful and worth the money as well as I feel that
the developers of this software deserve to make a little money on programs

without having to do a whole load of messing about with the jaws cursor?

master volume control on the computer,
unless you are streaming, in which case you would probably be using a media
player on the computer.
