Hello and welcome to the JAWS Users list. This list has been created for The
purpose of discussing all aspects of the JAWS for Windows screen reader
Program.
So everything that pertains to JAWS is fair game. Such as asking about what
software packages work well with JAWS or how to make them
What would happen if you installed the original printer to the second
computer, then the software, then put the printer back to the first
computer?
Would the software still work on the second computer, without the printer?

Folks,
Graphic labeling with the JAWS cursor is really bad, I have tried it
on several occasions. Namely on websites where they have the Submit
button as a image/ graphic. What I do is first place the PC cursor on
the graphic and then route JAWS to PC. Insert G to label the graphic,
no matter how
Although I do have many friends in Canada myself this is a bit off topic.
Thank you for understanding.

Hi Rich,
As far as a stand alone scanner goes, if you have the drivers / software
installed on both computers, all you need to do is plug the scanner into
either computer it will work. I would think the same would apply for a
printer. On the other hand, just having the drivers / software

use control + insert + g to Autolabel Graphic. otherwise manually label
the graphic Submit button (or its appropriate name).
Are you actually routing JAWS to PC? After pressing JAWSKey+Numpadminus,
then double left click with the NumpadSlash key. it also may help if you
are out of Forms Mode

Hi Radha,
If you are trying to label a graphic on a webpage, pressing control, insert,
+ G, will give you 2 different results depending on if you have automatic
forms mode turned on or are using the virtual cursor. If automatic forms
mode is on, control, insert, + G will start the auto
Hi Radha,
Personally I don't use Jaws 12 with Windows7 but, I have heard from others
on different lists' that Jaws12 can be a little flaky with Windows7.
Hopefully others who have experience with Jaws12 13 with Windows7 will
post their experiences. Take care.

Hi Radha.
Are you sure that it is a graphic element and not an object instead?
Try the object viewer in Jaws and see, if you can label the object in this
way.

Hi,
I am using Windows 7, 64 bit, and JAWS 13. I often find that some of my
open programs and documents are not in the alt tab order but I can get to
them by using the JAWS window list. I did not have this problem before
using Windows 7. Is there an easy fix?
Thanks,
Scott Duck
