Hi all,
When I open an email in outlook, jaws starts reading down where the links
are, to go to the jaws help page, or to get to the group etc. I have to
arrow up or hit Control home to get to the beginning of the email. Is there
any fix for this? I am running Windows 8.1, outlook 2010, and jaw
It's reasonably accessible. The most accessible virus protection I
currently know of that is free is Microsoft Security Essentials. I'd
stay away from that program as it misses a lot of threats.

I use it because when I first lost my sight ten years ago, VR had it
installed on my computerAlthough, I have purchased other computers and tried
other things, I came back to it. . I really consider it better then
nothing.

According to write ups, it is supposed to be screen reader accessible. Not on

Well this time it only took about 20 minutes. There were quite a few default
settings messed up. Links in emails should go to one of two places depending

ctrl+3=contacts,
tab to search and type in the contact wich is flagged,
2, now shift+tab you should see the contact,
3, press applications key, up arro until you see/hear;

What you describe, indicates that JAWS is not finding the license key for 16 on
your machine. So, it defaults to 40 minute demo which is considered a
