PDF document through an OCR application.

Chris was a former tech support person for GW Micro and her tutorials are
geared to WindowEyes users but she does an excellent job of explaining the
equivalent key strokes for JAWS users.

Lenny,
I encountered the same lack of thoroughness with RegScrubXP myself, although
I can't say that Registry Mechanic identified quite as many problems with my
system as it did with yours. Registry Mechanic did however find about 200
more problems than did RegScrubXP.
Bill
The problem with RegScrubXP however is that it doesn't seem to be as
thorough as one might like. I downloaded the Registry Mechanic and ran it
as a demo and it found 109 registry problems that RegScrubXP left
undetected.

you
have Notepad set as your default HTML editor in the Options/Programs tab.
Now, the problem you're having sounds a lot like a problem I reported to FS
concerning JAWS 8. I suggest you go with JAWS 7.0 or 7.1 while doing this
to see if the problem still occurs.
