That is almost the same issue I have. I have a desktop with an external
monitor and when I use the command to activate the screen shade feature,
JAWS reports that it is on but it isn't working at all.

O.k. I know this has been covered before, but can anyone tell me where the

I had some focus issues in 8.0, so I tried to repair 8.0 before I
went ahead and installed the latest update. No change, so finally
downloaded and installed Version 8.0.2107. I chose not to use the new
automatic feature and did it manually. Now when I do a say all in
