Well if you sorted on the column where the names are stored, you would
have
all of each name grouped togeth
name
Ann or Annette then only 1 row would be created for Ann and 1 row for
Annette.

It sounds like she is saying, Ann is on column
It sounds like she is saying, Ann is on column 100 and Annette is on row
100.

rear of the
machine, wait a moment then try and see if it is announced. It should
work.
I have no idea why it won't read when the mains power is applied but it
doesn't seem to.

ably won't work. Unplug the
computer either from the wall or just remove the plug from the rear of the
machine, wait a moment then try and see if it is announced. It should
work.

Are you saying if it's in the system tray then these keys, shift-jaws key-B
will announce the battery status?
If so then why is it not working over here being as my battery is in the sys
tray already?

I tried it too and jaws just said, battery status not found.
I did go into the sys tray and entered on battery on AC power and then I was
given 2 options and I went to power settings. Then I looked through the
control tab pages and under the advanced one is a check box to have your
battery to s
setting for that. It does however have the pointer above the 'B' so the
odd sighted passer can use it with the pad disabled
If the battery meter is not in the system tray then the Jaws scripts to
read it won't tell you the battery status.
