Hi all,
Is there a status on this VerifierError? And forgive this question if it's
too stupid, but does this pertains to the massive deployment order
discussion that's going on? If so, give me a dunce cap for not connecting
the dots earlier. If not, this bug demands some attention because it kill

I am listening old Beatles' songs today. :-)
Just commited an IIOP version of the bank test. Both IIOP tests
in CVS (helloiiop and bankiiop) have pretty much the same code
as their JRMP counterparts.
It is now very easy to compare JRMP and IIOP speeds.
Best,
Francisco

FYI, bug is now fixedboth in 2.4.5 (Branch_2_4 in CVS) and in 3.0.

Hi,
Jason didn't remove the ordering. It wasn't
really there for the resources. I got stung by it
in the alpha, but I didn't understand it then.
Before, there were MBean dependencies of
J2eeDeployer on JarDeployer, RarDeployer, WarDeployer
and ServiceDeployer.
These have now gone, but notice it

But don't you think some sort of ordering (like what was there before Jason
removed it) should be implicit?
Datasources specified in .xml files should be deployed before any
EAR/WAR/JAR files, don't you think?
That seems like a common/simple scenario and I don't think a user with that

This also greatly simplifies the code right? Just sort the directory and
you have your ordering.

I don't think there was any intention of forcing people to
rename their files. The point is that if you need an
explicit ordering this is the easiest way for the user to
do it. If you don't need ordering then call it anything you
want. So deployment order is something like

Hi, has someone realized that applet jars are included in wars and should be

Other than the fact that it would be cool, what's the reason for a J2EE
Wiki? This *REALLY* limits you, adds a great deal of resources to the
server, and restricts the environments in which you can run. The
Perl-based Wikis work great, have more features, require less resources,

The IIOP module should be working. There are no (major) problems known.
Of course, more testing is needed... Right now there is just one iiop
test in the testsuite. More are coming soon.
So far JBoss/IIOP provides basic RMI/IIOP access to EJBs. Transactions
and security aren't there yet.
