I'll be happy to test this new pre1 release and let you now how it goes. I'll
likely install on CentOS5 as it is my platform of choice, them move to Debian
5.0 Lenny as that is my backup choice. :-) I'll update the list here with my
results.

ss, if your STT engine is working
properly, it'd be a similar task. Create an open IVR with the ability to say a
command or other directive, the text is passed to an AGI script that fires
something off to JFFNMS.

I would love to see the 'admin structure not found' issues fixed that are
extremely prevalent in 0.8.3. I'm still running 0.8.2 on my JFF boxes because
0.8.3 is basically unusable...

Check out the new SourceForge.
Please make sure that you restarted Apache after changing your php.ini file.
Also, if you need php to be available in /usr/local/bin, please issue the
following command to symlink it: ln -s /usr/bin/php /usr/local/bin/php

It sounds like you're missing the SNMP PHP module. Depending on your distro,
you may be able to easily install it with your package manager. On
Fedora/CentOS systems, try 'yum install php-snmp'.

I've unchecked the status box on the interface page. Unfortunately, it removes
the interface completely. It does not show up in the hosts section or in the
interfaces section. I have not checked to see if it still exists in the

Does anyone have an idea? I want to continue monitoring the switch and graphing
the ports that are online but don't want it to appear that the switch is in
trouble because some of the ports are unused. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Last time this topic was brought up, I believe the status was "The code
is partially implemented but still is not functional". I do have to
admit, I would be very interested in seeing this happen.

Hello! One of our JFFNMS boxes is going to be moved to a new system. Is
there anything that needs to be done to retain the current data besides
exporting/importing the mysql database and the /opt/jffnms directory?
Thank you!

If it *REALLY* bothers you, you could always run the php files through
sed and replace the tags... ;-)

Then again... should be using globals either..and
JFFNMS simply uses the short open tag instead of the normal one. In your
php.ini config file for PHP, make sure you set the option
"short_open_tag" to On. The default is usually set to Off. Restart
Apache and you should be fine.

here in the JFF dir. Simply put the MIB files there and JFF
should have no problems finding your device's information (assuming of
course you have snmp setup and configured properly).

iliar with PostgreSQL but I would assume there is a similar
way to pull data. If you are running a windows based solution, I believe

there a workaround for this? My only thought is to simply have to
logical hosts in JFFNMS: one for simply scanning the ports, the other
for pulling SNMP data. However, I would ideally like to have a single
host for the whole server. Thank you!

I am very interested in this as well. It would be great to create a

may be adding a bit of complexity, but having the graphs created by
