I have implemented the very nice autocomplete plugin. Had to fight a
couple of hours though because the thing just wouldn't show anything
when I used an external data source. Finally I found out by placing
some alert boxes around in the jQuery code that my page for some
reason returned

I wouldn't bother using $(this).attr('class') anyway. Instead, try
this.className
And make sure that the class is, in fact, Value.

everything you click on is in the body,including the div you want to
stay open. Events bubble up from children to parent. Even though you
