Hi Ede,
not sure - seems to be like a "need to test" first thing.
I.e. how the look and feel is.
Which means, we should commit it for now?
others?
cheers,

generally comparable, but sure needs to be tested more.

that's what i suggest. functionality did not
Hi,
Let's see,
But just a question : on the right image, the close button disapeared.
How do you close the toolbox ?

i am about to commit a change that optimizes the toolbox window. currently it
takes more space than necessary leaving an ugly gap on the right side. this is

Hi Ede,
I tested it and like it.
I suggest to decorate the title with a border of your choice,
otherwise, with nimbus l&f, the title seems to belong to the first row
of button.
Seems that you did not commit the updated language file.

I was quite skeptical with no buttons for closing anymore, but it works
well for me. I used the menu bar button for switching off - which I
never did before.
When it comes to using double click, I am still skeptical though. I
would perhaps switch off that behaviour. My "expection" on double

I did not notice this contradiction, but now that you

(b) true as well, a wrench is usually used for system setting and
point/line/poly makes more sense

I agree it is good to get rid of the empty space in the toolbox, but
I'm +1 for keeping the close button. I think the lack of a close
button is going to confuse people.

experimented on OJ Jufre, using only original Jump method
makes toolbar faster on opening (again, this is my personal point of view, Ede)

Just expressing my opinion. I think loosing the close button is going
to confuse users.

agreed, it was a judgement call ;) an i just traded the rightside gap against
the close button. do you have a suggestion how to solve this, taking the lack
of titlebar space into account?

Understood. I don't have any ideas on how to get rid of the gap off
the top of my head. How are the editing toolbox buttons laid out?
Would a change in layout manager help?
I'm not strongly opposed to your changes, and don't ultimately have a
problem with the commit. Just thought we might cause us
esize" capabilities to ToolBox java files? This could
be another solution to investigate (saving closing button)

hey All,
i had a short look and found these icons (see screenshot) in the fugue icon
set. any objection into making them permanent? they look more elegant and
refined than the current ones.
in the future both icons should probably be placed side by side in the toolbar.
will do that when i come
Hi Ede,
I find the current ones well suited to other icons of the toolbar.
Maybe the toolbar should stay as is or be completely replaced by a new
set of homogeneous icons.
Just an opinion, don't accord too much weight to my advice in this area
