interesting. It is useful to cut islands inside
polygons, or duing some small cuts in the window.

me to work fine. Files are small (max 250 kb each, max 100 objects)
2) "Open files" also works with TIFF and ECW, even medium size (2 Mb)

Ermapper DLL)
2) create a new file
3) draw a polygon that cover almost the entire ECW
file
4) zoom in to a point
After zooming the ECW disapears from the layer view
and it is impossible to see it back

I can confirm what I wrote before. OpenJUMP NB
20081018 has a bug on ECW.
when I try to zoom in on a ECW raster file, after a
couple of zoom, the image disapears

I tested a previous version of OJ NB 20070902
Also this version has the same bug of OJ 20081018
* it opens ECW files (Ermapper DLL embedded)
* after zooming in(out sometimes the image disapears
This doesn't happen with JPG and TIF image (already
tested)

times simply the images disappear.

There is a link to Tutorial of Jump 1.1 in Spanish made by Vivid Solution.
Jump 1.2 is the former version of OpenJUMP 1.2. The new realize has more tools
but the basic is the same.
