Personally I like Autosketch, by autodesk ... it's a simplified version of autocad. I took a 1 semester nite class at the local college worth every penny. I have version 8 and it was $99 10 years ago. They are up to Version 10 at $200 or go on Ebay and get V9 for $50 or less.    RED

I agree TurboCad is a pretty functional inexpensive program. It's easy to set up your environment, and use it. There is always a free 15 day free download, but as usual you can not open saved files after the 15 days unless you buy the program. I have used it for #D Designs since version 3 came

As I have some major rework to do on the fin and sternpost, I was wondering about dividing the elevator into two halves and using, say, two L shaped metal pieces bridging the now divided spar so they form a box around the spar and bolted with two bolts (3/8?) o9n each side. This would make it
