Justin,
Yes you get two thicknesses of 3 1/2" X 5/8" plus a 1/4" shelf top and
bottom of them.
As for Douglas Fir. It is 125% heavier (bad news), at least twice as strong,
and cheaper if you can find it than Sitka spruce. My advice is as always,"if
it ain't broke don't fix it". Stick with spruce.

Sorry, but I have lost Dana's e-mail address.
Dana, If you sent the e-mail to the net regarding "Speed", Norton says its
infected with a "bug bear" virus. I have gotten 6 or 7 messages in the last
week infected with this virus but this is the first with a KR Netter's name
being involved.

At 5'8" I don't think you need to move back any. You should have plenty of
headroom and probably will need to have both seat and back cushions in a
standard 2S.
Just my thoughts.

It is with much regret that I have to tell you that I have sold my KR2S

One other nice thing about the Grove gear is that you can get it custom made
in both height and width and designed for your max gross weight. Go to
www.groveaircraft.com ,order their catalog, fill out the form with your
measurements and get a quote. They are great people to deal with. Mine is

Did you reserve your room at the Red Roof Inn? Anyone reserving a room there
be sure to mention you are coming for the KR Gathering. They have a block of
rooms set aside. My rate for a single is $38.00 per night,

I booked my room about 2 weeks ago and didn't mention the KR Gathering at
first and she said they had a few rooms available but when I did mention the
KR Gathering she said that they have a block of rooms reserved for us. At
that time only 3 people had reserved 4 rooms. Call the Red Coach in Red O

I made my table 4'X12'. I wouldn't go any shorter or narrower and sometimes
wished I had another foot. I made mine so I could remove 4' after the

I'm going to post a test to krnet now and see if is working for me again.

Just go to the price list for whichever KR you are interested in and the
plans and prices are listed. Don't try to call RR. Just go ahead and order
what you want and you'll get it.
