Hi Brad. I just took a look at the photos on your web site of your broken up practice fuselage. You didn't support your timbers with gussets which increase the the contact area of a joint around 6 fold (along the bottom and up the sides). T-88 is considered among the best epoxies for the job.

I've used West system epoxy for the last 10 years or so and do not have failures. T-88 is usually reputed to be good, maybe you have a bad batch.
