Very impressive posting!

is the only design that survived the loss of Charles. Story goes that the
widow of Charles Fauvel actually burned all of his drawings when he died.

Sure they're still available. See http://www.fly-kr.com/kr1.htm for how to

Scott the plans are still $60.00 I believe, and takes about 4 weeks. At
least that's how long it took to get mine.

The KR-1 plans are available from Rand Robinson.
They are $65.
Delivery runs from 3-8 weeks, depending on a variety of factors.
The plans are as complete and accurate as they have ever been. They are
more complete and accurate than the original versions, as they come with
many revisions that ha

Well, Mike, the guy who posted the
hem (they're copies), but an engineering ruler gave me very
good results (as some dimensions are not shown).
Hope this helps

To copy someone's plans is stealing. Why not just order them and pay the
small price they cost. Then you can feel good about the whole thing when your
plane is finished.

Dittos! This is complete BS! Sorry, but it is. It is akin to you copying a
book and giving it away on the internet. The publisher and author would be
screwed. I hope the hammer falls on a little SOB like you!

GOOD DEAL!
KR information should be public domain anyway. The original KR is
outdated to the point they are more of a GUIDE than PLANS. I believe this
"loyalty" is misguided and silly. There is a Yahoo group that has a bunch of
free downloadable plans from years past and this might be
ld the plane.

Not good Mike, I think everyone on this group feels very loyal to the
Rand/Robinson clan, even so this is not our style.
