I have read several ideas for covering the wing attachment joints but haven't
decided which one I will use. Is there any problem with flying with the joint
and attachment bolts exposed, or is it mandatory that this joint be

I have flown with my attach bolts exposed, without a problem. I did fill
the wing gap so that their is no gap between them. To cover the attach
fittings, I made a 4 small cover plates. The cover plates c

Ken, don't fly with the joint exposed, it will certainly create drag and
may damage the wing depending how well you sealed the ends. Some guys use
tape which looks kinda cheesy, I bought velcro on a roll and got white
vinyl at a building store, now I can peel off the gap seal ( which is
