Hi, I have not been able to follow-up on this. The Norwegian site is lacking sadly behind, not even promoting the newly released 3.4.1 :( Any updates on best-practice for keeping translations in sync, other than what you described below? Any of the other Norwegian translators want to give it a

I'm a bit short on time right now. Perhaps the Norwegian contributors should first discuss a strategy for the web site, and then the first of us who volunteer some time will execute the plan. The old web site is sadly out of date and gives a bad impression for for users and sends an unfortunate

I think that the present procedure to update the pages of the national web sites is using some auxiliary files (.mdtext, .js …) that are processed to give the final “.html” files to upload into the server. I am not sure of that, but I think too, that presently we can not correct directly

The part that still needs addressing is how to redirect AOO website visitors to their native subsites based on their locale. Here's a quick example: if I type in the browser's address bar I am automatically referred to as my locale is Lithua

I think the same discussion is going in paraller in 2 threads: this one -- "National web sites (Basque)", and in "Website: Detecting Visitor's Locale". At the latter thread, the notion tends towards using JavaScript for auto-redirection; that would allow a user to bypass .
