laces are intricate and require loads of them. And see...

Again eBay has thrown up a 'Vintage lace making' item. This looks more like

Oh, how delicious! I succumbed to the temptation and wrote to her, too! Like
Clay, I sent a very polite and informative message; I just cannot wait to
hear her response. I'll bet it's even nastier this time than the one Clay
got! :-)

I'm confused - not hard for this brain(?). I can't see how it can be
both antique AND vintage. I always understood antique was over 100
years old, and vintage was from the 1920-1930 period onwards. Maybe
I'm wrong, if so, can someone please set me straight?
Helen.
Hi everyone
The
You are right it can't be both. I think vintage would be correct in this
case, if I was going to rewrite the description, which I'm not LOL.
At least, one can see it isn't 'new' lace.
I might bid on it, though - it could be a good buy for someone in North

The description refers to the condition - not the best choice of words,
technically, but the implication is there that the piece is in good shape
(not 'new' as in made this morning - although yes, from the photo, can only
tell that it is tatting). The interested buyer can e-mail the seller to
