This is from one of two knitting blogs I read, KDD & co. (the other is
Mason-Dixon Knitting). Kate Davies is a wonderful designer with a
remarkable story of recovery/adaptation from a stroke at 36. If that
weren't enough, she is usually modeling her creations in the stunning
Scottish scenery
Hello All! Tess kindly sent me some pics of a fence in Portland, Maine I
have posted them to my album on webshots, page 2. I've labeled the fence
filet lace because that's what it reminds me of, but I guess the fence could
be considered blackwork (in blue) by others! Either way, someone

I wanted to save a copy of the fence from New York Times May 8 picture. I
didn't do it yesterday and today, I can't get access to the slide show.
Did anyone copy the picture and, maybe, forward a copy to me?
I would greatly appreciate it.

wellknown situation with Dr. Johnson's talking dog; i.e., the wonder
isn't that the fence is so beautiful (which I don't think it is), but
merely the fact that it exists at all. To my mind the object (fence

Hi All, There is a BL fence in the New York Times Sunday magazine.
I know we talked about one some months ago but I never got a chance to look
at the URL so this might be the same one. It's in the style section on page

I am working on my letter to the Times. Would I be correct in thinking that
Jeroen is a male name? Also, why is he sometimes Joep, sometimes Jeroen? Would
Joep be a diminutive of Jeroen?
