I saved the main photo, but did not try to save the close-ups, as I had a
feeling it would not work!! A pity, though, as they would be good to go back
to later on, as enlarging the photo on the computer makes it go fuzzy!

It has been given a whole new look and it certainly is an improvement. The
Artefact is a sample piece of American eagle old Bucks type lace. I’ve seen

initial learning curve is past. PayPal saves the name so renewals are very

it’s currently down. This is a general problem with the hosting company and we

My Lace Guild magazine arrived yesterday and I was over the moon to see the
pattern and working diagram of Christine Johnson's Medieval Garden and for
which Christine was awarded the John Bull Trophy for 'lace by a lacemaker
who is not a teacher'.

Hello Everyone
I am writing this warning to stop other lacemakers who buy multiples
of bobbins etc. As some of you know I have my own group and for the last 10
years since the group started,I have always bought everyone`s bobbins and then
they pay me. This year I ordered 4 bone bobbins
Daphne, - the extra amount on the postage may be for insurance, - though
that should have been mentioned.
I have shopped overseas, and had an extra amount added to cover the loss of
the parcel if that should happen. From USA one time - $3 postage cost $19
due to the insurance.

three-level Lace Guild assessment in a new kind of lace. I chose Milanese
because I love tape laces and it seemed a logical
