Aluminium bobbins were made by Jim Tregellas in South Australia, Helen - I just love mine, especially in summer!. A fairly new maker in Oz is Gerry Giesaitis in Corrimal, who makes a lovely line of laminated wood bobbins in all sorts of lovely colours, as well as beautifully turned plain wood
