What I don't quite understand is, as you already have not one but two makes
of thread that you like, almost identical in size, and (assuming the Brok
you have is 36/2) the only real difference between them is that one is an S
twist, the other Z, why are you looking for another.

Two ply threads *don't* make particularly crisp lace. If you use a three ply
it will be crisper. The most readily available three ply thread, in white and
a lot of colours, in the same thickness as Brok or Egyptian 36/2 is common old

that have the same feel in working and hold their shape well. I haven't
