Has anyone mentioned "The Eyre Affair" yet? It's by
Jasper Fforde and there are currently two sequels -
"Lots in a Good Book" and "The Well of Lost Plots".
They're really hard to explain, but basically, the
heroine (Thursday Next) has the ability to jump into
books. She has a pet dodo called Pickw
I really have to jump in here... I agree completely with
the ban against "advertising", but I think that it's
important to be clear about what advertising IS!
Advertising is announcing the availability of products for
sale by the person who is selling the product and will be
making a profit.

Alright, so I'm a little slow in my list reading, but I have read a couple
of good books of late.
Well there's the 5th HP, of course. And Life of Pi by Yann Martel.. it was
an enjoyable light read about an Indian Boy and a tiger in a lifeboat.
I've also dug into a fantasy novel called Kushiel's
